Cookies and local storage
What Tradepit keeps in your browser, and why.
What is stored
Tradepit stores a few things in your browser, in cookies, in local storage and in the browser database. It uses no advertising cookies and no third party trackers.
Strictly necessary
- a sign in cookie that keeps you signed in
- a short lived cookie while you sign in with Google
- a mark that this browser is signed in, to show the right buttons on the site
These are needed for the service to work and do not require consent.
Your settings
The theme, language, window layouts, hotkeys and other settings of the terminal are kept in the local storage of this browser, so that the terminal opens as you left it.
Exchange keys
Your API keys are kept in the browser database, the secret as a key the page cannot read back. They never leave the browser and are erased when you sign out.
Your choices
You can delete everything the site stored in the settings of your browser. This signs you out and erases the keys.
