Trading terminal

The Tradepit trading terminal covers trading from the order book and on the chart, charts, clusters, open positions, closed positions and open orders. SL and TP are set in percent or in ticks, can go out automatically with every new entry and can be placed on an open position, and there are trigger orders. An order size is set in money, for example 1,000 USDT, not in coins.

Trading from the order book

In the Terminal section an order is placed with a click on a row of the order book. The left mouse button places a buy limit and the right one a sell limit at the row’s price, with the size chosen beforehand. Your orders show in a column beside the book, where they can be cancelled or dragged to another price.

Open positions, closed positions, open orders

Under the chart of a Tradepit trading window are the tabs “Open orders”, “Open positions” and “Closed positions”. In the “Open orders” tab each order shows its type, “limit”, “stop loss”, “take profit” or “conditional”. A conditional order is a trigger entry. “Cancel” takes an order off the exchange, “Close” closes a position at market. Closed positions come from the exchange history.

Density radar

The density radar in Tradepit shows the large limit orders in the order books of every pair of the supported exchanges, futures and spot, and refreshes them every 2 seconds. Densities are picked by size, by how many times they are larger than the usual level of the book, by distance to the price and by how long they have stood. Watch every pair, only the top coins by market cap, everything but the top, or your own lists of pairs. When the price comes close to a density, its row lights up, and the journal shows which densities were eaten or pulled.

Candlestick pattern backtest

The Tradepit backtest runs your candlestick pattern over the exchange's candle history and shows what would have happened to a starting balance if a trade were opened on every signal of the pattern. The calculation runs right in your browser.

A pattern run over history

You pick the pattern, the side of the trade, up to 50 pairs, a period from a day to a month, the starting balance, the trade size, SL and TP in percent. The backtest shows PnL and the return on the balance, win rate, maximum drawdown, the longest losing streak, the result of each pair and a table of all trades.

Every backtest trade on the chart

Any trade of a backtest opens on the chart of its pair. It shows the pattern candles, the entry, the SL and TP levels and the exit.

Open Backtest

How the backtest counts

The exchange fee for the entry and for the exit is taken from every trade. If one candle touched both SL and TP, it counts as SL. Slippage, spread, funding and leverage are not counted. A result on history does not promise the same result in the future.
